YEONRIJI analyzes how well two people understand each other. Here's what we collect, why, and how it's protected. This is a working draft; the final wording will be reviewed by counsel.
What we collect
Your answers and your guesses about the other person. Optionally, your birth date (for the 五行 element hook; we never ask for the time). We don't collect real names — only the nicknames you type.
About the second person
A guess about someone else is data about a third party. It's visible to no one and never enters the result until that person takes the test and consents themselves. Each person answers for themselves and consents themselves.
Why we need this
To compute the understanding index, show the result, and protect the service from abuse. Invite-funnel statistics are measured anonymously, in aggregate.
Overseas processing
Data is stored and processed by our infrastructure providers, which may be located outside Korea: Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting; Supabase Inc. (USA) — database; Anthropic PBC (USA) — generating the written part of the result, when enabled.
Cookies and device
We set one technical cookie to link your pairs on this device — without it, 'My pairs' won't work. To prevent bots we store a hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
Retention and deletion
We keep only what the result and statistics need. Want your data removed? Write to us and we'll delete it from the database.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Contact us to do so.
